The EUROCITIES Mobility Forum |
The EUROCITIES Mobility Forum is chaired by the City of Copenhagen.
It currently involves more than 100 members, including also some medium-sized cities. The Forum maintains a constant dialogue with the European Commission and with environment and/or transport ministries in several European countries.
In addition to the production of position papers on questions of transport and mobility, the sub-network supports decision-makers in the development of sustainable mobility policies and organises the exchange of expertise.
The EUROCITIES Mobility Forum is actively involved in the organisation of the annual European Car-Free Day and the European Mobility Week initiative. Leipzig takes part in the Forum by representatives of the Office for European and International Affairs of the City of Leipzig.
Currently, the Forum consists of the following working groups:
- International Accessibility
- Road Safety
- Transport and Energy Efficiency
- Developing a new Mobility Culture
