NEW BUILDING LAND, Architecture and Urban Reconstruction in the Neue Laender 1990 – 2007

In this exhibition documented in a book which is still available in the German book trade have been showed more than 140 buildings of the greatest interest architecturally built during those years. In the book as well as in the exhibition you can view lots of big seized photographs in a brilliant quality and all bilingual explanations in German and English. Concerning urban development, some strategies and measures were being demonstrated by the examples of as different cities as Dresden, Halle, Leinefelde, Hoyerswerda, Leipzig, Greifswald and Cottbus. By this it is made plain (also in the book) to which radical changes the cities of the “Neue Laender” have been – and are still – subjected.
