The integration of new projects and the utilization of the potentials are long-term responsibilities of Leipzig's urban development, with the particular objective of strengthening the urbanity of the city quarters, while at the same time respecting the historical origins and references during the transformation. As a partial concretion, selected projects and potentials are shown more precisely, according to the classification of focal spaces of the urban development. In this way, the objectives concerning urban spaces are characterized more precisely with refined statements from the overall urban level to the scale of buildings.

For this specification, perspectives are drawn, in which the size of scale, line and angle of vision can be determined arbitrarily. Since the pictures are generated from the database of the Planwerk, they offer numerous possibilities for evaluating visionary, future or already existing projects from the perspective of urban spaces, in order to qualify and optimize decision-making processes with regard to urban planning.
