The assignment of this service is to provide and distribute objective, independent and highly qualitative statistical information to all, namely politicians, government, administrative agencies, business and industry, and the citizens in general. To do so the Leipzig Office for Statistics and Elections compiles statistics and produces reports on many topics of municipal interest.
