The former industrial buildings in Leipzig Plagwitz, situated directly by the White Elster river and the Karl Heine Canal, form unique industrial monument dating from the end of the 19th / beginning of the 20th century, and accommodating today a new cultural scene, modern offices, galleries and apartments.
The Plagwitz area was also one of Leipzig's projects for the World Exposition EXPO 2000.
